By Car:
Whether approaching from the North, the South or the West, the easiest way to get into the City for the first time, is by way of the city by-pass, which forms a ring around the landward side of the city.
The most convenient way to reach The Amaryllis Guest House is to take the turn-off A702. Leaving the by-pass by this route you should follow the signs for the City Centre. Stay on this main road all the way into the city until you see the castle on the horizon and you approach the Kings Theatre on your right.
By Bus:
The number 10 & 27 bus routes are along Gilmore place, both stopping near Upper Gilmore Place. These buses can be caught in either Princes Street (10) or in Hanover Street (27) in the City Centre.
Alternatively, if arriving by Rail or by Plane with a lot of Luggage, it may be easier just to make the short journey from the city Centre by Taxi. The journey from the Airport can be made via one of the frequent Airport buses or directly by taxi.
